We build human-centered technology that preserves connection, dignity, and emotional wellbeing — across generations, and through life's most vulnerable moments.
"To create technology and experiences that help people hold onto what matters most — identity, voice, love, and connection."
HuLux Innovations exists to reimagine how technology supports humanity — not by replacing care, but by deepening it. Our work sits at the intersection of healthcare, memory, caregiving, and emotional design.
A voice-first memory and connection platform designed to help families preserve meaningful moments through photos, voice recordings, stories, and sensory-based experiences.
Built for the people walking through cognitive decline — and for the families who love them. So identity, voice, and love can outlast even what's been forgotten.
HuLux Innovations was founded by Lisette Diaz Santiago, a healthcare leader, educator, and program builder with over a decade of experience inside one of the country's largest safety-net health systems.
At Boston Medical Center, Lisette's career moved through the work itself — from coordinating a high-acuity Surgical ICU, to managing project operations in Trauma & Acute Care Surgery, to leading patient experience initiatives that improved HCAHPS scores and built unit-level champion programs, to ultimately designing and running system-wide training as Learning & Development Manager. As part of a team rebuilding new-hire onboarding, she created the orientation curriculum used across sessions and personally facilitated more than a dozen cohorts — work that helped achieve a 98% satisfaction rate and strengthened early engagement across a diverse frontline workforce.
In 2025, she lost her grandfather to progressive dementia. What she learned in those final months — about the moments families search for, the technology they couldn't find, and the parts of a person that remain even when memory recedes — became the foundation for HuLux Innovations, formally established in November 2025, and its flagship product, MemoriGems.
In summer 2026, Lisette will present at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) on voice-based approaches to supporting emotional connection in dementia care — work drawn directly from MemoriGems' early thinking.
HuLux Innovations exists because she could not find what her family needed — and because she believes other families deserve better than to search alone.
We're partnering with healthcare systems, memory care communities, family-care platforms, and mission-aligned investors who believe technology should deepen humanity. If our work speaks to yours, we'd love to talk.
